Oakcha Volt & Vetiver is an Extrait de Parfum launched in 2026. Volt & Vetiver opens with Pepper and Elemi, settles into a heart of Cedar and Vetiver, and dries down to a base of Vanilla, Myrrh, and Opoponax. Oakcha's Volt & Vetiver carries a Favourite verdict, a woody-led wear.

A peppery, rooty vetiver with elemi on top and a creamy myrrh and vanilla base. Oakcha's take on Etat Libre d'Orange Fat Electrician, offbeat and cosy.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Volt & Vetiver sets out to surprise. It opens with a snap of black pepper and elemi resin, bright and a little lemony, like sparks flying off a metal workbench. The heart is dry and rooty. Cedarwood adds a pencil-shaving crispness and vetiver gives a smoky, earthy backbone, slightly grassy and very clean. Then the base turns soft. Opoponax and myrrh add a sweet, balsamic cream, and vanilla melts into both so the dry woods finish with a hug. It is a nice trick, and it keeps the scent from feeling stern. The progression is smooth, and the contrast between spice, root and cream gives it plenty of personality. At 30 percent extrait strength it lasts for hours and keeps a steady, moderate trail. It works across autumn, winter and cool spring days, and it is a good fit for the office, art galleries, long walks and relaxed dinners. Two or three sprays are plenty. Bottom line: a characterful pepper and vetiver scent with a creamy, resinous vanilla finish.
