About

Midnight in Paris opens briefly and moves quickly into the night. Bergamot is there for a moment, a bright flash of citrus that is gone almost before you notice it. Tea, holly and rosemary give the middle a green, herbal bite, dry and slightly smoky, like a pot of black tea left to stew by an open window. Then the dark side arrives: leather, incense, amber, benzoin and tonka bean, smooth and a little smoky, settling into a rich, warm base that sticks. The oil lasts a very long time and carries at a moderate distance, so it fits late evenings in the cold months. It follows Van Cleef & Arpels' Midnight in Paris.
