Pairfum London Spiced Rum, Lime & Guaiac Wood is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2019. Spiced Rum, Lime & Guaiac Wood opens with Lemon, Lime, Pepper, and Nutmeg, settles into a heart of Leather, Iris, and Tuberose, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, Cedar, and Guaiac Wood. Pairfum London's Spiced Rum, Lime & Guaiac Wood carries a Statement verdict, a sweet-led wear.

A boozy, smoky woody: spiced rum and lime over tuberose, iris and leather, resting on guaiac wood, amber and vanilla. Masculine-leaning and warm, with a straightforward character that wearers find easy rather than complex.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Autumn Winter

Warm rum, leather, guaiac wood and amber make autumn and winter the best seasons, and a wearer would happily wear it all winter. The lime gives it a little lift for summer but not enough for spring.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date
Also Works:
Casual Formal

A warm, seductive and fuss-free scent that suits evenings out and dressed-up wear, with an easy daytime side. It is too warm and boozy for the office or sport.

About

Spiced Rum, Lime & Guaiac Wood is the house's connoisseur scent, pictured as a naval officer on deck with a glass of spiced rum and lime, breathing the sun-bleached planks of his ship. It opens with the intense aroma of rum, lime and lemon zest and the radiant spiciness of nutmeg and pepper. The heart is deep and sensual: tuberose, iris and a vintage leather. The base is guaiac wood, with its smoky, leathery character, cedar, golden amber, vanilla pod and musk, with tonka bean and benzoin in the longer note list. Opinion is short and mixed in tone. One wearer finds a dry, sweet, woody scent that lasts and lasts once the spiced rum fades, and calls it seductive; another would happily wear it all winter. A blunter wearer says it smells like a dark, men's-style body wash: not a bad smell, but not a complicated one. Votes put wear time and trail at moderate and cover every season, with day and night use. The house calls the style masculine and sells it as unisex or masculine. It is best in autumn and winter, for evenings out and relaxed dress-up, and a good match for anyone who likes a warm, boozy and smoky fragrance without much fuss. It is made by hand in the UK by a small London house.
