About

Miss Di Attar takes its name and inspiration from Christian Dior's Miss Dior, one of perfumery's most storied florals. Rather than chasing the original's famous green chypre backbone of galbanum and oakmoss, this attar keeps things simple: a bright mandarin and gardenia opening leads into a rose and jasmine heart that is the clear focus of the composition. That heart is where the resemblance is strongest, since rose and jasmine dominate both versions, but the depth Dior builds with patchouli, leather and mossy woods is thinned out here into a lighter powdery-musk base. The result smells recognisably like a rose-jasmine floral in the Miss Dior family without the vintage's sharper, more sophisticated edges. Longevity is respectable for an oil format and it sits close to the skin, making it a soft, easy-to-wear floral for anyone who wants that classic rose-jasmine signature without the original's price tag or its more demanding chypre character.
