This extrait opens on the same bright, juicy pairing that defines the original: sharp grapefruit softened by black currant, a combination reviewers often compare to Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue for its similarly fresh, fruity-musky effect. From there the real Scent of Peace develops into a smooth, creamy lily of the valley with a subtle wood accent, becoming what one reviewer called a clean skin scent that still gives off a pleasant trail through the day. This version keeps that same floral transition but the lily of the valley reads thinner and the cedar-musk base settles in more quickly, so the composition moves toward a simple clean-musk finish sooner than the original's slower, more rounded development.
