The opening leads with juicy pineapple and a touch of saffron, immediately signalling the blend rather than either fragrance in isolation, before birch and jasmine bring in Aventus's slightly smoky character. The base is where Baccarat Rouge's influence shows most clearly, with ambergris and musk building a sweet, glowing warmth rather than Aventus's usual dry oakmoss finish. As an oil, the whole thing sits close to the skin and the initial fruity-sweet burst fades within a couple of hours into a soft ambery musk.
