Perfume Parlour Chief Drink is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2017. Chief Drink opens with Lemon, Bitter Orange, Grapefruit, and Apple, settles into a heart of Geranium, Cinnamon, Clove, and Ginger, and dries down to a base of Woody and Vetiver. Perfume Parlour's Chief Drink carries a Favourite verdict, a fresh-led wear.

Chief Drink copies Hugo Boss Bottled Tonic - the same iced apple-and-citrus fizz with a ginger-spice kick over light woods. The original already projects softly and fades fast, and this budget version is lighter and flatter still - an easy, clean daytime splash.

About

Chief Drink opens just like Boss Bottled Tonic - a crisp, cold blend of apple, lemon, bitter orange and grapefruit, like citrus squeezed into iced tonic water. The heart adds the original's signature spiced lift of ginger, cloves and cinnamon over green geranium, before a light vetiver and woods base closes it out. Against the original the budget take is simpler and softer, the spices a touch flatter and the drydown thinner, with sillage that stays close to the skin - though the Boss itself is a notoriously light, short-lived fresh scent. It works the same way: a clean, invigorating everyday fragrance for spring and summer, fine for casual wear, the office and the gym, with frequent re-spraying.
