About

Creative For Women is Perfume Parlour's version of the Yves Saint Laurent Nu style, an oriental spicy scent for women. The house lists bergamot and cardamom at the top, orchid, jasmine and black pepper in the heart, and sandalwood, musk and vetiver underneath. The opening is bright and lemony with a green cardamom bite. The heart is a pale floral held in check by pepper, and the base settles into creamy wood and soft musk. Compared with Nu, the incense is not listed, so the resinous, smoky haze that defines the original is much lighter here. That makes it a cleaner, drier spicy floral that sits closer to the skin, with the woods and vetiver doing the work late on. It comes in 13, 30, 50 and 100 ml.
