Perfume Parlour Dee & Don is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2014. Dee & Don opens with Bergamot, Lemon, Rosemary, and Artemisia, settles into a heart of Rose, Lavender, Tuberose, and Lily, and dries down to a base of Leather, Vetiver, and Patchouli. Perfume Parlour's Dee & Don carries a Favourite verdict, a aromatic-led wear.

Dee Don targets Creed's Aberdeen Lavender - the oriental fougere where fresh herbs and a mild lavender play against lush lily and tuberose over a vetiver-leather base. The dupe captures the aromatic-floral character but renders it flatter, with the creamy refinement simplified and the good Creed longevity cut to a skin-close presence.

About

Dee Don opens fresh and herbal - lemon and bergamot lifted by rosemary and a menthol-tinged artemisia, the invigorating aromatic start that defines Aberdeen Lavender. A surprisingly floral heart follows: lush lily and tuberose softening a mild, creamy lavender alongside a touch of rose. A base of vetiver, leather and patchouli grounds it. Against the Creed original the dupe reads a touch flatter and less creamy, the elegant interplay of straightforward lavender and rich white florals simplified, and the famously good Creed longevity trimmed. It wears as a refined, slightly unconventional aromatic fougere - the floral side keeping it from being a typical barbershop lavender. It suits the office, casual days and dressier occasions across the milder seasons. Projection is modest and longevity skin-close after the opening hours, the usual budget trade against the 6-7 hour original. As a smell-alike it captures the lavender-tuberose-vetiver signature of Aberdeen Lavender while losing some of the creaminess and tenacity.
