Designer American opens with a fresh sparkle of mandarin before the white florals take over - the signature of the original Vera Wang (2002). Perfume Parlour's interpretation captures Vera Wang's soft, fresh, creamy-floral character convincingly, but it reads a fraction flatter, the gardenia thinner and less luscious and the blend simpler than the designer original. The original itself was known for only moderate 4-6 hour longevity, and here it is similarly modest with soft, close projection. The effect stays elegant and bridal-pretty - a creamy white-floral for spring and summer, worn casually, at the office, day to day or on romantic dates.
