Vera Wang

American designer label best known for sweet, playful, and floral-forward scents with wide mainstream appeal.

About Vera Wang

Vera Wang is an American designer best known for her romantic, modern approach to bridal and eveningwear, established with her first boutique in 1990. The brand extended into fragrance in 2002 with her debut scent, Vera Wang, a feminine floral of mandarin, lotus, and iris conceived with brides in mind, followed by a companion men's fragrance in 2004. Its most successful release arrived in 2006 with Princess, a youthful gourmand floral created by Ilias Ermenidis and Harry Fremont that became a noughties favourite and inspired a long series of flankers. Many of the house's scents carry a bridal or romantic theme, as in Sheer Veil and Bouquet, and the fragrance line is produced in partnership with Coty. Vera Wang fragrances are defined by their soft, feminine character and an accessible sense of occasion.
