Extraordinary opens with a herbal flourish of lavender and clary sage that quickly gives way to its main event: creamy bitter almond, close to marzipan, wrapped around a supple leather. Orris root and vanilla add a powdery, sweet roundness through the heart before the base settles into tonka bean, amber, cashmeran and a lingering leather. It chases Tom Ford F***ing Fabulous, an almond-leather-tonka composition rendered with maximum density and confidence - a love-it-or-hate-it statement scent. This budget version captures the distinctive almond-leather DNA but renders flatter and less dense: the sweet almond reads up front, the leather a touch thinner, and the rich, room-filling drydown of the original is dialled back. Where the Tom Ford projects boldly and lasts most of the day, this version settles closer to the skin within a few hours. As a bold, unisex almond-leather for autumn and winter evenings it delivers the signature idea; just without the dramatic depth and reach of the real Fabulous.
