Gabbie opens bright and juicy - grapefruit, mandarin and a tart whisper of black currant - a luminous, sparkling start in the modern fruity-floral style. The heart is a full white-floral bouquet: jasmine, tuberose, creamy ylang-ylang and orange blossom rounded with dewy lily of the valley and a flicker of pink pepper, that glowing, romantic flower-powerhouse character. The drydown turns soft and skin-like - musk, sandalwood, cashmeran and powdery orris - a clean, cosy finish that wraps the flowers in warmth. As a budget oil-house composition it reads flatter and more linear than the luxe luminous florals it nods to, with projection that stays close and moderate longevity. Still, it captures a radiant, elegant, feminine glow - lovely for dates, the office and evenings across spring, summer and autumn - at a fraction of a designer price, even if the most three-dimensional facets of those originals are only suggested here.
