Harmony Opera

Harmony Opera opens with a vibrant fruit-and-Turkish-rose accord, elegant and slightly opulent, echoing the woody floral musk of Xerjoff Opera. The heart is where its character sits - ylang-ylang, a touch of nutmeg, soft leather and amber giving warmth and a powdery, almost lipstick-like backbone that keeps it grown-up rather than sweet. The base is a smooth blend of vanilla, musk, patchouli, Virginia cedar and Haitian vetiver, lending a long, refined woody finish. Against the original, Perfume Parlour preserves the mature, powdery-floral elegance but renders it a shade flatter, with Opera's remarkable 10-hour-plus longevity and confident projection softened. Projection is moderate before settling close. A sophisticated, slightly sensual woody floral for cool days and evenings, equally at home formally or at the office.
