Milan Dark

Milan Dark opens on a bittersweet citrus accord of tangerine and grapefruit, quickly turning darker as a violet-and-pepper heart steps in, lifted by a dry sage facet. The drydown is where its name earns out: cedar, smoky myrrh and patchouli build a shadowy, masculine woody base that reads spicy and brooding. Inspired by Night Him, it chases that dark spicy-woody-violet character - the kind of nocturnal signature built for evenings rather than daylight. As a Perfume Parlour take it renders the composition flatter and more linear, with the inexpensive citrus and pepper weighted up front and the resinous myrrh-cedar depth softened, so it sits closer to the skin and projects less than a designer original would. The result is an easy, confident cold-weather scent that captures the mood of the original without its full smoky richness.
