Perfume Parlour Pade is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2016. Pade opens with Quince and Saffron, settles into a heart of Rose and Osmanthus, and dries down to a base of Musk and Leather. Perfume Parlour's Pade carries a Statement verdict, a rose-led wear.

Pade recreates Hermes' Galop d'Hermes, the elegant rose-and-suede-leather parfum. It captures the tart quince-and-saffron opening and that refined rose-leather waltz, but the dupe smooths the original's top-quality nuance and wears closer, trading its golden, eight-hour polish for a skin-near budget version.

About

Pade opens with a dewy, slightly tart quince drizzled over pink rose, lit by a few specks of fiery saffron - faithful to the original's distinctive overture. The heart is all rose and leather: a rich Turkish rose taking the lead with osmanthus warmth, partnered by a soft, civilised suede rather than a dark animalic leather. White musk rounds the drydown into something smooth and refined. Against Hermes' Galop d'Hermes, this dupe gets the savoury-saffron, rose-leather DNA right and keeps the chic, grown-up character, but the original's golden, top-quality richness and full projection are dialled back here, leaving a more linear, skin-close wear. Longevity is moderate for the price. It is a sophisticated, sensual rose-leather for cool-weather evenings and formal occasions, delivering much of the niche original's elegance at a budget price.
