Radical Pistachio follows Prada Paradoxe Radical Essence: a bright, radiant opening of neroli and orange blossom before the heart's signature twist - a creamy, salted pistachio that reads almost like baklava, nutty and gourmand. The drydown is the best part, a smooth, creamy sandalwood that wraps the sweetness in a warm, velvety finish. Against the original, the PP take keeps that pistachio-floral-sandalwood structure but leans a shade sweeter and renders the salted, slightly savoury nuance and the seamless crossover more simply. The designer was polarising (some love the cosy baklava warmth, others find it too sweet); this dupe is a softer, more straightforward read. As a budget oil it wears warm and present for a few hours but projects and lasts a little short of the parfum-strength original. A creamy, nutty gourmand for cooler-weather casual days, dates and cosy evenings.
