Rare Oud Blend opens with a familiar Sauvage flicker of bergamot and dry pepper before diving fast into its dark heart. Resinous labdanum takes the lead, warm and faintly leathery, with a whisper of lavender keeping the Sauvage DNA alive. The base is where it lives: smoky oud, sweet vanilla and a glowing amber-ambroxan warmth, dense and oriental in spirit. As a dupe of an exceptionally rich, limited original it captures the deep woody-amber-oud direction in outline, though it wears flatter and more linear, the genuine blend's distilled density softened to a skin-near presence with moderate longevity.
