Velvet Accord

Perfume Parlour Velvet Accord is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2024. Velvet Accord opens with Davana, Rum, Pink Pepper, and Coriander, settles into a heart of Tuberose and Coconut, and dries down to a base of Tonka Bean, Tobacco, and Hay. Perfume Parlour's Velvet Accord carries a Statement verdict, a creamy-led wear.

A budget take on Xerjoff Casamorati's Quattro Pizzi - the same green tuberose melting into creamy coconut over a sweet, smoky tonka-and-tobacco base. Velvet Accord captures that velvety floral-gourmand character but reads flatter and shorter-lived than the niche original, the coconut creaminess and bright tobacco thinner.

About

Velvet Accord opens with a youthful punch: fruity-grassy davana, a boozy rum, pink pepper and a touch of coriander - the vernal entrance of Xerjoff Casamorati's Quattro Pizzi (2024). The heart is the star, a green, slightly aromatic tuberose melting into a generous creamy coconut for that signature velvety texture. The base turns sweet and smoky-grassy with tonka bean, a bright, never-bitter tobacco leaf and dry hay, lending a caramel-vanilla warmth. Perfume Parlour's interpretation captures Quattro Pizzi's creamy tuberose-coconut-tobacco character convincingly, but it reads a fraction flatter, the coconut creaminess and that bright, cigar-like tobacco thinner and less seamlessly blended than the niche original. Where Quattro Pizzi delivers excellent 8-12 hour longevity with strong sillage, here it is more moderate. The effect stays sensual and cosy - a velvety floral-gourmand for autumn, winter and cool spring, at home on evenings, dates and dressier occasions.
