About

Flash is an Extrait de Parfum that goes from sharp to soft. It opens with tart raspberry and the lively heat of ginger and pink pepper. The ginger feels high and diffusive, and it recedes fairly quickly. Rose and ylang-ylang take the heart and carry the later stages. The rose is creamy and face-powder-like, a spicy rose rather than a dewy one, and it has a slightly sour, smoky edge that competes with the creaminess in places. The ending is more comfortable than the start. Tonka bean, musk and vanilla create the finish, powdery and rounded. It lasts a respectable length of time and projects at a moderate level. Flash suits people who like rose with warm spice and a creamy drydown. If you are sensitive to sharp ginger, powdery florals or a sour edge, test it on skin first.
