Rasasi Oudh Al Boruzz Rooh Al Assam is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2015, created by Raphael Haury. Oudh Al Boruzz Rooh Al Assam opens with Rose and Saffron, settles into a heart of Indian Oud, Leather, and Labdanum, and dries down to a base of Cypriol Oil or Nagarmotha, Sandalwood, and Oud. Rasasi's Oudh Al Boruzz Rooh Al Assam carries an Acquired verdict, a musk-led wear.

This is a bold, uncompromising oud-rose, polarising for good reason. If you're after something truly animalic and potent, it's a masterpiece; if not, it'll likely offend. Definitely not for beginners.

Showing: Overall Blend

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

A cold-weather scent - best worn in winter and autumn.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date Formal

Given its 'eternal' longevity and 'enormous' sillage, this isn't one for the office or casual daytime wear, as it could easily overwhelm. It's best reserved for special formal events or intimate date nights, especially in cooler weather, where its powerful presence can be appreciated without being intrusive.

About

Rooh Al Assam bursts open with a raw, almost challenging Indian oud, immediately softened by a rich, dark rose and a hint of spicy saffron. As it settles, the oud mellows slightly, blending with a smooth, leathery heart and warm labdanum, adding depth and a touch of sweetness. The dry down reveals a persistent, earthy oud, supported by woody cypriol oil and creamy sandalwood, creating an opulent and long-lasting scent that is both traditional and intense.
