Rebel Aromas Angel's Ember is an Eau de Parfum. Angel's Ember opens with Bergamot and Cinnamon, settles into a heart of Floral, Amber, and Incense, and dries down to a base of Musk, Sandalwood, and Vanilla. Rebel Aromas's Angel's Ember carries an Acquired verdict, a warm spicy-led wear.

Angel's Ember channels By Kilian's Angels' Share - the same cinnamon-amber-incense warmth over a boozy vanilla base - but comes across softer and sweeter, missing the original's rich rum-cask depth and long, smoky dry-down.

About

Angels' Share by Kilian built its reputation on a genuinely convincing boozy-cask accord, all cognac-soaked oak wrapped in incense and vanilla. Angel's Ember borrows the shape of that idea - spiced bergamot and cinnamon up top, amber and incense through the heart, vanilla-sandalwood-musk underneath - and turns it into a friendlier, more generic warm-oriental scent. The opening is a fair echo of the original's cosy spice, and the amber-incense heart captures some of that ember-glow character the name promises. Where it falls short is richness: the original's rum-cask nuance and lasting smoky depth are replaced here with a simpler sweet-vanilla finish that fades faster and reads flatter on skin. It's a reasonable evening warmer for anyone who likes the mood of Angels' Share without needing the exact liquor-cask complexity or the designer longevity.
