Luxe Leather

Luxe Leather opens with bergamot, lemon and a spicy lift, brighter and simpler than Tuscan Leather's darker, more brooding citrus-spice start. The heart brings a smooth, polished leather note with jasmine and cedarwood, evoking the shape of the original without its sharper, suede-like grain. Amber, vanilla and musk close things out with a comfortable warmth in place of Tuscan Leather's richer, more resinous drydown. Projection is decent for the first couple of hours before it settles close to the skin, and overall longevity is modest, a clear step down from the original's famed staying power. It works as an accessible way to try the leather-fragrance genre for evening or colder-weather wear, but those who know Tuscan Leather will notice the flatter, less complex construction underneath.
