Rebel Aromas Petal Fusion is an Eau de Parfum. Petal Fusion opens with Citrus and Peony, settles into a heart of Marigold, Jasmine, and Gardenia, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, and Sandalwood. Rebel Aromas's Petal Fusion carries an Acquired verdict, a floral-led wear.

Petal Fusion echoes Jo Malone Jasmine Sambac & Marigold's sunny jasmine-marigold heart but reads brighter and simpler up top, missing the honeyed benzoin warmth that gives the original its ethereal, long-lingering trail.

About

Petal Fusion takes its cue from Jo Malone's Jasmine Sambac & Marigold, opening with a fresh peony-citrus brightness in place of the original's sunny marigold burst. The marigold-jasmine-gardenia heart captures the general sunlit-floral mood well, though it comes across flatter and less precious than the real jasmine sambac, which reviewers often describe as carrying an unlisted honeyed warmth. Musk, sandalwood and amber round things out with a soft, clean finish, but the benzoin-vanilla richness that gives the original its excellent sillage and lingering trail is largely absent here, so the scent settles to skin more quickly. It is a cheerful, affordable floral for anyone chasing the jasmine-marigold mood without the Jo Malone price tag, even if it cannot match the original's polish or projection.
