SMEL. Daisy is an Eau de Parfum. Daisy opens with Berries and Violet Leaf, settles into a heart of Jasmine, Violet, and Gardenia, and dries down to a base of Musk, Sandalwood, and Vanilla. SMEL.'s Daisy carries a Statement verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Copycat's Daisy nails the sunny berries-and-white-florals opening that made the Marc Jacobs original a modern classic, but the musk-vanilla base wears thinner and fades faster than the real thing's soft, lingering skin scent.

About

Marc Jacobs' Daisy is built on a light, joyful berries-and-white-florals formula, and Copycat's version gets the top notes convincingly right: wild berries and violet leaf open with the same fresh, slightly tart brightness that made the original so wearable. The jasmine-gardenia-violet heart keeps the floral side soft and feminine rather than heavy, tracking closely with Daisy's easy-going, sunny character. The base is the weaker link - Daisy's musk-vanilla-sandalwood drydown is famous for settling into an intimate, soft-skin musk that lasts most of the day, while this version's base notes are noticeably lighter and quieter, dropping off to almost nothing after a couple of hours. As a springtime, low-commitment floral it does the job and will read as recognisably 'Daisy-adjacent' to anyone familiar with the original, but the shortened wear time means it's better suited to a quick daytime spritz than an all-day signature scent.
