The opening is genuinely one of the more convincing parts of this dupe - the tart green apple over cucumber and grapefruit gives an immediate, mouth-watering freshness that echoes the original's playful energy closely. Magnolia and tuberose in the heart add the floral polish that keeps Be Delicious from reading as a simple fruit-basket scent, and this dupe captures that balance reasonably well for the first hour. Where it falls short is the drydown: DKNY's sandalwood-amber-musk base is engineered to keep a soft, crisp edge lingering for 4-6 hours, while No. 845's base thins out into an unremarkable sweet musk much sooner, losing the apple-cucumber crunch that makes the original distinctive. It's a fun, inexpensive way to get the fresh fruity-floral mood for a daytime outing or casual office wear, but it won't carry the same all-day vibrant energy as the real Be Delicious.
