No. 186 borrows the exotic rose-and-oud silhouette of Penhaligon's Halfeti, opening with a spicy saffron burst over bergamot that leans convincingly into the original's Trade Routes drama. The rose-jasmine heart reads a touch thinner and sweeter than Halfeti's dark, almost bruised Turkish rose, and the oud-leather base, while present, doesn't carry the same smoky longevity - it tends to soften into a generic warm amber within a few hours. Still, for a fraction of the designer price, it delivers a recognisable oriental rose experience that suits evening wear when the real Halfeti isn't in the cabinet.
