Roos & Roos

About Roos & Roos

Roos & Roos is a Parisian perfume house built on a mother-and-daughter partnership. Chantal Roos and her daughter Alexandra went into business together in 2014 around a shared love of scent, launching the label first as Dear Rose before it took the family name. Chantal Roos is one of the industry's genuine heavyweights, having launched Opium with Yves Saint Laurent in the 1970s and gone on to work with Jean Paul Gaultier, Issey Miyake and Tom Ford. Alexandra came to perfume by way of indie rock, with four albums to her name as a singer, guitarist and composer. The range is grouped into collections: The Iconics, The Originals, The Exclusives, The Orientals and Les Simples, the last a deliberately natural line named after the monastic gardens of aromatic plants. Fabrice Pellegrin composed the house's first twelve fragrances, and the roster also includes Dominique Ropion and Nicolas Bonneville.
