This one's a proper head-scratcher. Mango Aoud delivers a juicy, ripe mango that divides the crowd - some find it a tropical dream, others a synthetic nightmare. The woody oud base tries to ground it, but often gets lost or, worse, comes across as a bit 'off'. Definitely not a safe blind buy.

Defiant Flower clones Rihanna's Reb'l Fleur - that warm, tropical fruity-chypre of juicy peach, creamy coconut and a patchouli-vanilla base. As a budget take it leans even sweeter and more powdery-coconut than the original, trading a little of the patchouli-musk sophistication for an easy, cosy gourmand feel.
