About
Evaporated milk is unsweetened milk reduced by heat and sealed in a tin. In perfumery it reads as plain dairy creaminess with a cold metallic edge from the can. It is the unsweetened half of the tinned-milk pair. Condensed milk is the other half, and that one carries added sugar.
Scent Profile
Evaporated Milk smells like reduced cows' milk, thicker than fresh milk but without the sugar of condensed milk. A metallic, tinned edge runs through it, the mineral smell of the can itself. A faint clean musk sits under the dairy body, and a faint sour note like a dish left too long in the fridge shows at the edges.
