Margarita is a cocktail accord, not a raw material. It is salted lime over tequila: a tart citrus top with sea salt and an airy lift, an orange-liqueur heart, and a sweetened agave base.
Scent Profile
Margarita smells of fresh lime and salt first, a tart citrus top with a rounder orange behind it. A coarse, mineral salt runs right through it, like the crystal on the rim of the glass. Over the top sits an airy, sea-salt freshness. Tequila shows only as a quiet boozy warmth in the middle, softened by a sugary agave sweetness. A tropical guava note fills the heart, kept in check by a sharp, tart sourness. A green, herbal agave edge grounds the whole thing.
