Akro Rise is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2023, created by Olivier Cresp. Rise opens with Coconut Water, Pineapple, and Coconut, settles into a heart of Toffee, Tiare Flower, and Frangipani, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood and Ambroxan. Akro's Rise carries a Statement verdict, a sweet-led wear.
Akro Rise is a divisive one. There's a genuine pina colada vibe here, some love the fresh, creamy tropical feel, but for just as many, it descends into synthetic sunscreen, weirdly savoury notes, or even 'fishiness'. Performance is also a major sticking point.
