Labdanum and vanilla weave together in the heart, offering a comforting sweetness that is the clearest link to the designer scent, even if it leans a touch more sugary and less leathery. The dry-down settles into tonka bean and soft musk, a cosy finish that lasts a few hours before fading close to skin, well short of Grand Soir's legendary staying power. It suits cold-weather evenings and date nights when you want an amber-vanilla gourmand mood without the designer price, offering a decent introduction to the genre if not its full depth.
