Alexandria UK Burj Khalifa is an Eau de Parfum. Burj Khalifa opens with Bergamot, Lemon, and Lime, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, and Fig, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood, Oud, Patchouli, and Cinnamon. Alexandria UK's Burj Khalifa carries an Acquired verdict, a amber-led wear.

Burj Khalifa chases Roja Dove's Amber Oud with a similar citrus-into-floral-oud arc, but the oud accord here is smoother and less resinous than Roja's dense, luxury-grade material, and the ambergris-benzoin base fades to a soft musk far sooner than Amber Oud's famous room-filling longevity.

About

Burj Khalifa opens with a citrus flash of lemon, bergamot and lime before moving into a floral bouquet of rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang that closely tracks the structure of Roja Dove's Amber Oud. The rose-jasmine heart is a genuinely good match in the first couple of hours, carrying real opulence. Where it separates from the original is the oud itself - Roja Dove's Amber Oud uses a dense, resinous oud material that reads as unmistakably luxury-grade and anchors hours of projection, while Burj Khalifa's version is smoother and more restrained, sitting closer to a generic amber-woods accord than true oud. The saffron and cinnamon spice comes through nicely, but the ambergris and benzoin base thins out into a soft musk within five to six hours rather than the near-day-long trail Amber Oud is known for. As an accessible entry into the amber-oud genre it is convincing and well-composed, though the gap in raw material quality and staying power is noticeable to anyone who has worn the original.
