Levante

Levante is Aromara's version of Louis Vuitton's Ambre Levant, a polished Eastern-inspired amber from the maison's Les Sables Roses-adjacent collection built for understated, quiet-luxury evening wear. Aromara's take opens with bergamot, saffron and cardamom, moves through rose, iris and incense in the heart, and settles on amber, oud, sandalwood and vanilla. The saffron-rose-incense-oud combination is the defining thread of the original, and Levante captures that warm, resinous amber character well from the opening spray through to the long dry-down. Where it simplifies is in refinement - Louis Vuitton's in-house oud and iris materials give the original an unusually smooth, almost powdery luxury texture that a budget Extrait cannot fully match, so Levante reads a touch more straightforward and less layered by comparison. Even so, it delivers a genuinely evening-appropriate, quietly luxurious amber-oud for a fraction of the price, with strong longevity to match.
