Bijan DNA Femme is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2004, created by Claude Dir. DNA Femme opens with Bergamot, Rosewood, Geranium, and Ylang-Ylang, settles into a heart of Jasmine, Tuberose, Lily of the Valley, and Osmanthus, and dries down to a base of Amber, Sandalwood, Vetiver, and Oakmoss. Bijan's DNA Femme carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

DNA Femme is a full-bodied white floral that does not apologise for itself. Tuberose and jasmine sit over a warm vanilla and amber base, with a little clove for bite. It suits anyone who likes a classic, opulent feminine scent.

Showing: Overall Blend

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring
Also Works:
Summer

A warm-weather pick - at its best in spring and summer.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date Casual
Also Works:
Office Formal

Its moderate longevity and appealing floral character make it suitable for daily wear, including the office, without being overpowering. The romantic and alluring white florals also lend themselves well to date nights, while the fresh aspect keeps it versatile for casual outings. It's a bit too rich for sport, and not quite grand enough for very formal events.

About

This eau de parfum opens with ylang-ylang, bergamot, rosewood and geranium, a bright but floral start rather than a sharp citrus one. The heart is a thick bouquet of lily of the valley, jasmine, tuberose and osmanthus, with carnation and clove adding a spicy edge. The base turns warm and resinous, with vanilla, sandalwood, benzoin and amber, plus oakmoss, myrrh and vetiver for depth. It is a rich floral with an old-school feel, creamy and warm rather than light.
