526 | Inspired by Ombre Leather opens with a spicy touch of cardamom before quickly settling into its main event: a smooth, smoky leather note paired with jasmine, which is the strongest point of resemblance to the original's celebrated leather-floral pairing. The base brings amber, moss and patchouli together for a warm, slightly earthy finish, aiming for the velvety, sensual depth Tom Ford built the fragrance around. Where it falls short is staying power and richness in the drydown, as the amber and patchouli fade to a soft, generic warmth well before the original's leather character would still be clearly present. Projection is strong for the first couple of hours before tapering off.
