536 opens with the same trio of Sicilian orange, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian lemon that made Xerjoff Erba Pura a summer staple, and for the first twenty minutes the resemblance is genuinely close. Where it departs is the transition: the juicy red-fruit heart that should bridge citrus and vanilla feels muted and generic rather than layered, and the base of white musk, Madagascar vanilla and amber arrives noticeably sooner. That base is also sweeter and flatter than the original's warm, slow-building amber, meaning the fragrance settles into a simple sweet-musk skin scent within a couple of hours rather than the all-day radiance Erba Pura is prized for. A fun, sunny citrus for casual daytime wear, but it does not chase the original's longevity or complexity.
