Clean Shaven 1 Million is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2008. 1 Million opens with Grapefruit, Mandarin, and Mint, settles into a heart of Rose, Cinnamon, and Clove, and dries down to a base of Leather, Amber, Cedar, and Patchouli. Clean Shaven's 1 Million carries an Acquired verdict, a amber-led wear.

Clean Shaven's One Million riffs on Paco Rabanne's blockbuster gold-bar scent, leaning hard into the amber-leather sweetness but missing the rich, resinous depth that makes the real 1 Million so polarising and long-lasting.

The sweet amber-leather base suits cooler months and evening wear best; the heavy sillage can feel cloying in summer heat.

Also Works:
Formal

Bold and sweet enough for date nights and going out, but too strong and syrupy for a professional office setting.

About

Paco Rabanne 1 Million launched in 2008 and became one of the best-selling men's fragrances of the decade on the strength of its sweet, amber-leather signature - a blend of blood mandarin and grapefruit up top, cinnamon and rose through the heart, and a heavy amber-leather-patchouli base that reads instantly recognisable even at a distance. Clean Shaven's dupe goes straight for that sweetness, opening with a similar citrus-cinnamon burst that will read as familiar to anyone who knows the original. Where it thins out is the base: the real 1 Million uses a dense, almost syrupy amber-leather accord built to project for hours, and the dupe's version is noticeably lighter and less resinous, fading to a soft sweetness rather than the original's beast-mode sillage. It is a fair way to sample the 1 Million idea for a fraction of the price, particularly for casual or evening wear, but do not expect it to fill a room the way the genuine bottle does, and reapplication will be needed sooner.
