About

Devotion Pour Homme sets two opposites against each other. Sharp lemon opens it, bright and zesty, then dark roasted coffee comes in, rich and earthy. At first the two clash. Then they settle into a surprisingly well-judged mix, the lemon lifting the coffee out of heaviness. As it dries down, patchouli arrives, adding a woody, earthy depth that rounds off the contrast. The result smells both warm and cool at once, and is not like many other perfumes. It is assertive for an office and best saved for evenings.
