Holiday

Dubai Essences Holiday is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2022. Holiday opens with Violet, Sea Water, and Petitgrain, settles into a heart of Magnolia, Tuberose, and Violet, and dries down to a base of Vanilla, Incense, Sandalwood, and Myrrh. Dubai Essences's Holiday carries a Favourite verdict, a floral-led wear.

A budget Halloween interpretation that keeps the powdery violet opening and tuberose-magnolia heart of the original, with a vanilla and incense base that softens the more mysterious edges.

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

Powdery violet, magnolia and the vanilla-incense base sit best in cooler weather where the soft oriental dry-down has room to bloom; the structure thins out in summer heat.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date
Also Works:
Office Casual Formal

Mysterious floral oriental structure with vanilla-incense warmth suits date and evening wear; office-acceptable on lower-projection days but not a high-energy daytime choice.

About

Holiday Pour Femme is the Dubai Essences reading of Jesus del Pozo Halloween, opening with the powdery violet and quiet sea-note signature that defines the original's first impression. Petitgrain adds a soft green lift, and the violet keeps the top mature rather than candy-sweet. The heart pulls in Casablanca magnolia and tuberose, the two florals that gave the Del Pozo original its vamp identity. Tuberose is dialled back from the original's intensity, leaning toward the magnolia's creamier texture, which makes the heart phase feel less theatrical than the 1997 reference and more wearable for daily use. The base runs on vanilla, incense, and a touch of sandalwood and myrrh. The vanilla does more work here than in the source - sweeter, less smoky - while the incense keeps a thread of the mysterious dry-down that Halloween fans recognise. Projection is moderate for the first two hours and the wear stretches to a comfortable six on skin. In the dupe-house landscape it competes with the various budget Halloween interpretations from Spanish and Arabian houses, with Holiday reading slightly sweeter and creamier than the Del Pozo original.
