Goochi Oud is Eden's playfully-named take on Gucci Oud, and the note pyramid lines up almost exactly with the designer original: a fruity-spiced opening of raspberry, pear and saffron, moving into a Bulgarian rose and orange blossom heart, before settling into oud, patchouli, amber and musk. This is one of the more faithful dupes in Eden's oud range, and it shows - the raspberry-saffron contrast against the rose is instantly recognisable to anyone familiar with the original, and testers report it holding up well through the first few hours of wear. Where it likely differs, in line with community feedback on Eden's oud-based fragrances generally, is depth and longevity in the base - Gucci Oud's dense, near-medicinal oud accord is hard to replicate at this price point, so expect a softer, sweeter woody-amber finish rather than the original's heavier, more austere dry-down. Still, this is a genuinely close match on paper and in early wear, making it a strong pick for anyone who loves the raspberry-rose-oud combination but wants to sample it before committing to the designer bottle.
