No.579 is Eden Perfumes' vegan take on Yves Saint Laurent's Libre, the modern fragrance built around the unconventional pairing of aromatic lavender with warm vanilla. The opening brings mandarin, lavender, blackcurrant and petitgrain together for a fresh, slightly tart citrus-herbal blend that mirrors the original's bright entrance. The heart doubles down on lavender alongside jasmine and orange blossom, keeping the floral-aromatic tension that reviewers cite as Libre's most distinctive quality intact. Vanilla, cedar, amber and musk fill out the base, delivering the same lavender-vanilla contrast that gives the genuine Libre its contemporary, slightly rebellious character. Reviews of the real YSL Libre highlight excellent longevity, often six to eight hours or more, with a noticeable sillage that outperforms many similarly priced designer competitors.
