Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Gold is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2010, created by Olivier Gillotin. 5th Avenue Gold opens with Bergamot, Mandarin, and Lily of the Valley, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, Iris, and Guava, and dries down to a base of Musk. Elizabeth Arden's 5th Avenue Gold carries an Acquired verdict, a musk-led wear.

5th Avenue Gold is a bright, white-floral scent with a fruity twist and a clean musk finish. It is polished and easy, the sort of thing you spray without thinking. Pleasant and safe, with a little sparkle from the guava.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

It opens with lily of the valley, mandarin and bergamot, a fresh, citrusy and dewy start. The heart is a floral bouquet of jasmine, iris and rose, lifted by guava, which adds a juicy, slightly tropical note to the usual flowers. Iris brings a soft, powdery edge. The base is simply musk, clean and skin-like, so the scent dries down gently rather than sweetly. Overall it is a fresh floral with a touch of fruit, light, tidy and feminine.
