Malpaso

Happyland frames Malpaso as a dark and dangerous ride into something unexpected. The name comes from Clint Eastwood's production company. It is a liquid Extrait, released in 2022, and sold as a 30 ml and a 50 ml spray. Castoreum sits at the centre of a dry, animalic leather profile. Citrus and floral notes sharpen the opening, while spices add warmth. Incense, patchouli, vetiver and woods deepen the base. The opening has a fresh edge over dusty, spiced leather and wood, with a confident sweep that can feel forceful at first. It is smoother and less edgy than Hommeland Extreme. Projection is moderate for the first two or three hours, then it settles into a softer scent bubble that lasts well into the day, ten or more hours on the right skin. It reads as a dark, spicy, animalic leather with enough citrus freshness to be more approachable than its rugged theme suggests. It has no real seasonal limits, though autumn evenings and nights out suit it best.
