Kenzo Unidentified Fragrance Object is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2009, created by Aurélien Guichard. Kenzo's Unidentified Fragrance Object carries an Acquired verdict, a fresh-led wear.

Unidentified Fragrance Object pairs frankincense with orange blossom and rose, which is a smarter idea than most unisex florals manage. It is resinous and floral at once, and it suits anyone who likes their flowers with a little smoke.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

This is a short list of three notes: frankincense, orange blossom and rose. Frankincense brings a dry, resinous, incense-like air, while orange blossom adds a honeyed, slightly soapy brightness and rose gives a rounded floral centre. The result is a floral incense that sits somewhere between sacred and pretty. With so few notes there is little to hide behind, so it feels simple, calm and a little mysterious, and it works as easily on a man as on a woman.
