Tropical Breeze kicks off with a jarring, synthetic burst of a milky note paired with harsh grapefruit and mandarin, immediately rubbing you the wrong way. The cumin and incense try to add some depth but just contribute to the general disarray, creating an off-putting, almost plastic-like aroma. As it dries, a thin, artificial suede attempts to ground the scent, backed by a very faint, almost phantom woody blend of vetiver and guaiac wood. The base introduces a chemical musk, a touch of vague vanilla, and an overwhelmingly synthetic ambroxan that lingers with an unwelcome, acrid sweetness. Oakmoss and styrax are utterly lost in this chaotic composition.
