Oakcha After Light is an Extrait de Parfum launched in 2026. After Light opens with Spicy Notes, Bergamot, Ginger, and Incense, settles into a heart of Rose, and dries down to a base of Sandalwood, Oud, Patchouli, and Tonka Bean. Oakcha's After Light carries an Acquired verdict, a floral-led wear.

Incense, ginger and a single rose over a dark base of aged oud, sandalwood and myrrh. Luminous but moody, it suits those who like smoky, resinous woods with a polished finish.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

After Light begins with a glow and ends in shadow. The top is a bright cluster of bergamot, incense and ginger, backed by warm spice accords. It feels energising and a little ceremonial, like a candle being lit in a quiet room. The heart is one note, rose. It is velvety and full, and it softens the spice with a touch of floral depth, while its slight darkness connects the bright opening to the heavy base. It is simple, and it works. The base is deep and opulent. Aged oud gives a smoky, slightly leathery, resinous wood, sandalwood adds a creamy smoothness, and patchouli grounds it with earthy depth. Myrrh adds a bitter, balsamic note, tonka bean softens the sweetness, and a hint of licorice root brings a sticky, dark warmth to the finish. The extrait concentration gives long wear and a diffusive, refined trail. It is best from autumn to winter, in the evening, at formal occasions or on dates, and it works well on men and women alike. Bottom line: a luminous, smoky oud with resin warmth and a polished feel.
