Faint Murmur

Faint Murmur is a soft voice with a lot to say. It opens with mandarin and peach, a juicy, velvety fruit pairing, and tuberose already starting to bloom at the top. The result is bright and creamy at once, with a slightly fuzzy peach skin texture. At the heart, jasmine, gardenia and iris take over. Jasmine adds a heady sweetness, gardenia gives a rich, buttery, almost green-milky depth, and iris smooths the whole bouquet with a cool, powdery softness. It feels full and sensual rather than sharp. The base uses vanilla, sandalwood and a little vetiver. Vanilla provides a gentle sweetness, sandalwood adds a creamy wood, and vetiver draws a thin line of dryness so the finish does not turn syrupy. As a 30 percent extrait it projects well and stays for many hours, so one or two sprays is enough.
