About

First Morning is built like the first hour of a good day. It opens with Sicilian lemon and lime, sharp, zesty and cold, and a little orange blossom adds a honeyed floral touch that makes the opening feel warm rather than harsh. Lavender comes next, soft and herbal, and it reads like fresh linen. A little Ceylon cinnamon and a touch of red pepper add a gentle tingle, just enough warmth to keep the heart interesting. The base is where the comfort lives. Musk, sandalwood and tonka bean blend into a creamy, skin-like finish that smells freshly washed. Nothing is heavy or sweet, and the wear stays calm from morning to afternoon. As an extrait it lasts well beyond a normal citrus, though the trail stays light and close.
